update: spring break

First off, I want to apologize for being M.I.A lately. With the stress of midterms and craziness of spring break, I haven't had time to write a blog post! I was so ready for a break after midterms. I had the most relaxing and fun spring break catching up with old friends and making new ones.

I went to visit my best friend Valerie in Houston last weekend for her 22nd birthday and it was a blast! When I got there Friday night Val had champagne and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies prepared as a pre-birthday celebration and to celebrate the news of being chosen as LC's Chic of the Week (still swooning over that moment). 

Valerie put together these adorable bridesmaids gifts that included blueberry, lemon, and vanilla lavender French macarons and champagne in a can with a tiny straw attached. 

We had a DryBar appointment Saturday morning and I was thrilled because I have never been before. 

this is after they finished my hair! I felt totally pampered having someone wash and dry my hair for me. I absolutely loved the results.

Here's a pic of all the girls after our blowouts! I think it's safe to say my macaron & champagne filled spring break was quite a success. I am already looking for an excuse to go back to the DryBar.  Anyone have a birthday coming up? I would love to tag along :)
